Description
Learn how quick and easy it is to start programming for Android devices. I will create from scratch a simple Android application with traditional user interface elements such as buttons, tabs, and lists. I will then deploy this app on an Android device and show it running. I will finally show how you can debug and test an Android application. In the process of these demonstrations, you will learn where you need to go and what you need to do to start programming for the Android operating system. I will also talk about the SDKs that are important to a CAD developer and illustrate how to consume REST web services from an Android device.
