Description
Generative design is a process of iterative design that uses the power of computing to give a designer a very large number of permutations and possibilities we can fine-tune with several constraints to get an optimum-performing design. This class will describe with real examples how we can use Fusion 360 tools to optimize designs, fulfilling the whole process from a raw CAD model to a high-performance design model that we can use in our simulation studies. The workflow will involve Fusion 360 and Autodesk Generative Design software for the optimization process, alongside Fusion Simulation and Autodesk CFD software as the numerical studies to prove the high-performance of the final alternative. The class can be a great way to get familiar with the usage of Fusion 360 and Autodesk Generative Design, as well as Autodesk simulation tools for fluids and mechanical simulation.
